Fax Pro - send & receive faxes on the go App Reviews
App is for free you pay per page sended. In comaprision to other app I used it is very simple and the pricing is easy. I coudl absolutely recommend this App. By the way the support is fast and very helpfull.
I downloaded this app because the description states, and I quote, “No need for registration and login just import document and fax”. Too bad the first thing the app asks me to do is log in or registar. Can’t do anything without first creating an account. Can’t continue with this app after such blatent false advertising. Going to report this app to Apple.
It could not be easier and simpler than that. It is a very efficient app., direct to the point. The only improvement that I would suggest is that, if you have filled a page (such as recipient name and fax number, etc.) and you go back to another page, when you come back, the information is lost, you have to retype it. It is just a small inconvenience. Good job!
Very useful app
I mailed developers to include incoming fax support, was giving 4 stars but their prompt reply to my query force me to give it 5…. Thanks!
Nice app - easy to use
Since i sent 4 pages yesterday i kept this app in my favorites folder. Does what says..
does not work
tried to send a fax, did not work and anything you try and click on do not work. sent and email got no response.
I had downloaded this app because I needed to fax a few documents, and iFax kept force closing on me. I was wary about the interface because it forced me to purchase pages before I had the opportunity to send them. Still, the cost was less than taking it to a copy center and using their fax machine. Well, I probably should have just paid the extra money after the ordeal I have had with Fax Pro. So, with my first outing, the fax “failed to send” on the first try, but it didn’t waste any of the credits I had purchased. On the second attempt, it went through and was received. I then had a second document that I needed to send, and so I followed the same protocol. Again, on the first attempt, it didn’t send, but on the second attempt it went through fine. That was about three weeks ago. Fastforward to today. I went to fax a document this morning, and upon trying to open the application I was met with a message saying that it had been corrupted, and that I needed to delete it from my computer and download it again. This wasn’t the frustrating part. I know my way around the Applications folder, and deleted it. I hopped on the App Store and downloaded it again. My credits were still there, and it seemed to queue up okay. So, I went about trying to fax my documents again. The first attempt brought me to the all familiar “Couldn’t send fax” screen. My second attempt resulted in the loading bar hovering over the app for well over an hour. I had reliable 20 Mbps speeds the entire time, yet all the application did was stall with the status bar visible. I never got a failure message, nor did I get a confirmation message. I force closed it and opened it back up to see if any of my credits had been used. They hadn’t so I closed it properly, opened it, and gave it another shot. It hung again, this time for upwards of about thiry minutes before I finally force closed it. At this point in time, I figured to again delete the app and then download it again. After a successful download and install, I opened to find that all of my credits were erradicated, and, to “attempt” to fax anything else, I would have to pay more money. I had 12 credits when I had previously closed and opened the app, and now I have 0. I hate when my apprehensions turn out to be true, but in this case, they were. I cannot recommend this application to anyone. Eventhough iFax force closes, in the two times that I used it, I at least only had to pay for something if the app successfully faxed something. I will be taking my business elsewhere as this app has been incredibly underwhelming and clearly geared toward generating revenue in a manner similar to the way that Disney World asks that you purchase “Disney Bucks.” I guess at least at Disney world you have somewhat fond memories to wash down the bitter taste left in your mouth by exchanging legit tender for fictitious currency. I cannot recommend this application. Download and use at your own risk, but don’t be surprised if, ultimately, you feel buyers remorse almost immdeiately after purchasing your first batch of next to useless credits.
doesnt work
total waste of time and money, and no way that i know of to get a refund for the credits I had already purchased.
Do not download this app. Its garbage. When I downloaded the app, I had to buy credits to send a fax, that is fine. But in the send fax window, I selected plus to add a number, when you do this it asks to access your computers contacts. I selected no, because i wanted to enter the number manually. so it then pops up with the contacts window with zero numbers. you can not enter in a number manually. accessing the computers contacts is the only way to enter in numbers. I tried downloading the app again but that did not solve the problem. I want my money back for the credits i bought!!!!!!!!
I needed a fax program. it cost $.99 to fax 1 document page and thats all I need it for. No instructions for use that I could find tried all kinds of ways to get the documents into the app finanly converted to a jpeg and it worked. I’ll give it a 4 if it had proper instructions I would have given it a 5
Nah, من آن را دوست ندارم. This software was great for the first couple of months. I needed to send only one fax every other month or less. I had no problems in the beginning. I had to start sending on a regular basis and I was charged a credit each time the receivor’s system was busy. I kept getting the failure message so I resent the fax, it wasn’t until I was done that I realized I spent over $7 trying to send that one page fax because of the busy signals. Previous to this incident, I signed up for the incoming fax monthly subscription. I cancelled right away after receiving multiple emails for dial tones and disconnected calls. Numerous emails from Fax Pro servers stating I had a fax only to produce an error that there wasn’t any data; these dial tones and disconnected calls counted towards my monthly limit and the people called a minimum of at least twice a day. I decied to sign up for the monthly email fax @ godaddyDOTcom Email fax for a lot, lot, lot, lot less per fax and month. Maybe in future updates and for your future customers maybe a link to contact support within the App may be nice for your new customers. In order to get support you have to add to your desktop or come back to the App Store to get Fax App supports information, nothing is provided within the App.
wrong country code
your program has mixed up its country codes and when I put the right one in--it says ERROR! Took my money and that's it. Another scam!
When Fax Fails To Send
This app deducts credits, or charges you even when a fax fails to send for ANY reason (like the recipient's fax machine isn't on, etc.). I blew over $20 trying to send a fax that failed to send. I was prompted to resend, and every time I did click resend, the app charged more credit points, and did this without telling me that resending on a failed fax would result in additional costs. Also, there is no way to communicate with the app designer short of leaving a review. The "Report a Bug" button does not work either. Save your money and send a fax any other way!
fax didn't go through
App wouldn't send my fax until I went to cancel it, then it magically was sent.
Disappointing.
Supposedly sent two faxes, but on the 3rd attempt, I got error messages 3 times in a row, but it still used my credits up!!! This should not be allowed to be in Apple's store!
Cannot even receive verification of account so I can get into app
What an absolute waste.
DON’T BUY THIS … I WANT MY MONEY BACK
App is awful. Doesn’t work. Big waste of money.
Don’t expect to receive faxes with Faxpro
Tried to “buy” a number to receive faxes on and was told the request failed however, my money was taken. Useless for receiving faxes but great for throwing money away.
Nah. Find something else
